Louie Paul Nassaney, FROM SELF- RELLANCE- THRU INSPIRATION – INTO TRANSFORMATION

There was a time – and it wasn’t very long ago – when I thought I had everything. I was a member of a close-knit, loving family. I have a mom and dad, two brothers and two sisters. I worked in our family business, and it gave me an excellent income. A beautiful home, a fabulous car, fine clothes, friends, an active social life, lots of recreational drugs – all were mine. I had everything the media tell us to want-the things that are supposed to bring fulfillment and joy. How could it be, then, that I was not happy? Continue reading »

Lust for Life (AIDS = Acquired Inner Developement Source)

Hi,

I still find it hallucinating that the AIDS system has managed, through fear and non-scientific mumbo-jumbo, to take away our birthrights, which are health, happiness, hope and autonomy. When I hear that someone is staking his life on a non-specific test,T4 cell counts, viral load (of crap) and the most toxic treatments in medical history, I would like to remind them that they have the most powerful & sophisticated self-healing power – within. Those simple things that we can do for ourselves to improve our health are almost never mentioned by orthodox medicine. Continue reading »

First Person – An article by David Patient, South Africa

“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” - Sir Winston Churchill

AIDS entered my world on the 10th March 1983: The first person I knew with this disease – Michael Shortell – died on that day while the medical staff at the hospital frantically operated on him. In order to get him the experimental treatment from the NIH for what they believed to be PCP pneumonia, a confirmed biopsy was required. My friend died in the operating theatre. Little did I know that at moment of his death, my life would change forever. Continue reading »

His name was Pablo Falcon, a Native American healer living in New Mexico. He was on a show called Human Urine-Elixir for Good Health? airing on the National Geographic Channel, showcasing an ancient healing tradition: the practice of drinking one’s own urine.

Yes, he drank his own urine; a cup a day, usually in the morning, catching the first stream in mid discharge.

He drank it straight, like a shot of whiskey, but sometimes sipped it like a hot toddy on a cold moonless night. It was Pablo Falcon’s preventative medicine-urine therapy, or uropathy. Continue reading »

Mikel Galano wakes up in the morning just like the rest of us. When he heads to the restroom for a little relief, he does not flush. No, he’s not just conserving water. Rather, he saves half a glass of urine obtained mid-stream for a morning cocktail. That’s right, Galano drinks his urine with the idea that it will help prevent disease and restore his body to a natural internal balance. Continue reading »

The Scientists at the California University, Los Angeles (UCLA) reveal that mindfulness meditation helps slow down progression of HIV.

Meditation does this by relieving stress and bolstering the immune system in HIV positive patients. HIV eats away the CD4 T cells and weakens the immune system, and stress speeds up this process. On performing mindfulness meditation, the CD4 T cells can decline in HIV positive patients. Continue reading »

Sometimes called psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), these approaches are based on the concept that the mind or brain can influence the body’s ability to fight disease. Mind-body approaches such as meditation, visualization and guided imagery cannot probably help one will away HIV, but one can use any of them to make living with your condition easier, and maybe even reduce susceptibility to AIDS-related infections. Acupuncture involves the relatively painless insertion of extremely thin needles into the skin at specific points to help balance the body’s flow of energy, referred to as qi (”chee”). When needles are inserted into the appropriate points, it is thought that energy is unblocked, and symptoms can be relieved. Variations of acupuncture include acupressure and shiatsu (pressure and massage of acupuncture points). Acupuncture is sometimes used to relieve some HIV-related symptoms such as neuropathy, fatigue, and pain. It is also used in an attempt to strengthen the immune system. Continue reading »

Prior to the emergence of AIDS, few people were familiar with or cared about the immune system. Now, more than ever, the general public is interested in exploring ways to bolster immune response to prevent the progression of AIDS, as well as to reduce the number and intensity of opportunistic infections and to improve the overall state of their health. By strengthening a person’s own defenses, the body is best enabled to defend itself. Continue reading »
